Oscar & Rupert are Back With Another Dog Friendly Cinema Event

After a huge success in April, Oscar & Rupert are hosting another dog friendly cinema event on Sunday May 15, in the basement of Wringer and Mangle bar and restaurant in Hackney.
The event is open to dogs of all shapes and sizes (and their humans of course!), and tickets cost £18.50 per human with canines going free. The price includes a film screening, a free goodie bag, and 20% off your food and drink bill at Wringer and Mangle. The restaurant is just a few minutes walk away from London Fields – perfect for wearing your pooch out before the main event!

This month’s film is the 1984 indie drama, Paris, Texas, which unanimously won the Palme d’Or (Golden Palm) at the 1984 Cannes Film Festival from the official jury, as well as the FIPRESCI Prize and the Prize of the Ecumenical Jury.
Please arrive before 3pm when the film starts, in order to give your pooch some time to settle down before the screening.

You can find out more at, and find tickets here.

Oscar & Rupert was set up by pooch lovers, Stephanie and Sigita, to put on dog-friendly events. All of their events are all inclusive: “for all shapes and sizes of dog, big and small, posh pooches and scruffy mutts alike, dog friendly for friendly dogs!”
